Terms of Service
The rules and responsibilities that apply when you use Crapp, submit community content, or access Premium features.

Welcome to Crapp™. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Crapp mobile application, website, services, features, content, and related products provided by Crapp LLC (“Crapp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using Crapp, creating an account, submitting content, or using any feature of the service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Crapp.
1. What Crapp Does
Crapp is a community-powered restroom discovery platform that helps users find, review, and share information about public and publicly accessible restrooms.
Crapp may include features such as:
- Map-based restroom discovery
- Restroom submissions
- Ratings and cleanliness scores
- Labels or restroom signals
- Reviews and notes
- Photos
- Reporting and moderation tools
- Location-based recommendations
- Premium features such as Poopmergency
Crapp is designed to help users make faster and more informed decisions, but restroom conditions, access rules, availability, and business policies may change at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Crapp.
By using Crapp, you represent that:
- You are old enough to use the service
- You have the legal ability to agree to these Terms
- Your use of Crapp does not violate applicable law
- Any information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge
If you are using Crapp on behalf of an entity, organization, or business, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Accounts
Some parts of Crapp may be available without an account.
However, certain features may require an account, including:
- Submitting restrooms
- Leaving reviews
- Uploading photos
- Reporting content
- Saving favorites
- Using premium features
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree not to:
- Create an account using false information
- Share your account with others
- Use another person’s account
- Attempt to bypass account restrictions or bans
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
4. User Content
Crapp allows users to submit, upload, post, or share content, including but not limited to:
- Restroom details
- Ratings
- Cleanliness scores
- Labels or restroom signals
- Reviews
- Notes
- Reports
- Photos
- Access information
This content is referred to as “User Content.”
You are solely responsible for the User Content you submit.
By submitting User Content, you represent and warrant that:
- The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge
- You have the right to submit it
- It does not violate another person’s privacy, rights, or safety
- It does not violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law
- It does not include people, minors, nudity, private information, or identifying details in restroom photos
- It does not encourage trespassing, harassment, illegal activity, or unsafe behavior
5. License You Grant to Crapp
You retain ownership of your User Content.
However, by submitting User Content to Crapp, you grant Crapp a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable license to use, host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, modify, adapt, publish, and create derivative works from your User Content for the purpose of operating, improving, promoting, and providing the Crapp service.
This license allows us to:
- Display restroom information to users
- Show reviews, labels, ratings, and photos
- Moderate and organize content
- Improve search and recommendations
- Promote Crapp using non-private, non-sensitive submitted content
- Maintain backups and records
This license continues even if you stop using Crapp, unless content is deleted, removed, or otherwise restricted according to our policies.
6. Community Guidelines
You agree to follow our Community Guidelines when using Crapp.
You may not submit content that is:
- False or misleading
- Harassing or abusive
- Hateful or discriminatory
- Threatening or harmful
- Sexually explicit or obscene
- Invasive of privacy
- Illegal
- Spam
- Promotional without permission
- Intended to damage a business, person, or public space unfairly
Crapp may remove, hide, restrict, or moderate User Content at any time, with or without notice, if we believe it violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, our Privacy Policy, applicable law, or the safety and integrity of the platform.
7. Restroom Photos
Restroom photos are especially sensitive.
You agree not to upload photos that include:
- People
- Faces or bodies
- Reflections of people
- Children or minors
- Nudity
- Inappropriate content
- Personal or identifying information
- Private documents, receipts, names, phone numbers, or contact details
- Unrelated or misleading images
Photos that violate these rules may be removed immediately.
Repeated or serious violations may result in account restrictions, suspension, or permanent bans.
8. Restroom Codes and Access Information
Some restrooms may require a code, purchase, staff approval, or other access requirement.
You agree not to submit access information that:
- Encourages trespassing
- Encourages users to bypass business rules
- Shares restricted or staff-only information
- Creates safety or security concerns
- Misleads users about access requirements
Where possible, describe access requirements generally and respectfully.
Examples:
- “Code required”
- “Ask staff for code”
- “Customer-only”
- “Purchase required”
- “Receipt may be needed”
Crapp may remove or restrict access information that appears unsafe, inappropriate, misleading, or harmful.
9. Businesses and Property Owners
Crapp may include community-submitted information about restrooms located in businesses, public spaces, parks, venues, transportation hubs, or other locations.
Crapp is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any business or location unless explicitly stated.
Businesses, property owners, or authorized representatives may request review of content they believe is inaccurate, outdated, inappropriate, or harmful.
We may review, remove, hide, or modify content at our discretion.
Crapp does not guarantee that all submitted information is accurate, complete, current, or available.
10. Community-Submitted Information Disclaimer
Crapp relies on community-submitted information.
Restroom information may change at any time, including:
- Availability
- Hours
- Cleanliness
- Access codes
- Purchase requirements
- Accessibility
- Business policies
- Safety conditions
- Restroom layout
- Overall usability
Crapp does not guarantee that any restroom will be available, clean, safe, accessible, open, or suitable for your needs.
You are responsible for using your own judgment when relying on information in the app.
11. Location Services and Navigation
Crapp may use location data to show nearby restrooms, suggest places, and provide navigation handoff through third-party services.
You understand that:
- Location results may not be exact
- Directions may be provided by third-party mapping services
- Travel times and distances may be estimates
- Crapp does not control third-party maps, routes, businesses, or restroom availability
You are responsible for following applicable laws, business policies, and safety precautions while navigating to or using any restroom.
12. Premium Features and Subscriptions
Crapp may offer paid features, subscriptions, or premium access, including features such as Poopmergency.
Premium features may include:
- Faster restroom recommendations
- One-tap routing
- Smart ranking
- Widgets or shortcut features
- Future premium functionality
Purchases and subscriptions may be processed through third-party platforms such as:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play
- RevenueCat
- Stripe or other payment processors
Subscription terms, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and billing are generally handled by the platform or payment provider used for the purchase.
Crapp does not directly control Apple App Store or Google Play billing policies.
We may modify, add, remove, or change premium features over time.
13. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use Crapp for unlawful purposes
- Submit fake, misleading, or harmful content
- Upload inappropriate or privacy-violating photos
- Harass users, businesses, or individuals
- Abuse ratings, labels, reviews, reports, or submissions
- Scrape, copy, or harvest data from Crapp without permission
- Reverse engineer or interfere with the app
- Attempt to bypass security or access restrictions
- Use bots, automated systems, or spam tools
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
- Encourage unsafe, unlawful, or harmful behavior
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
Violation of these rules may result in content removal, feature restrictions, account suspension, permanent bans, or other action.
14. Moderation and Enforcement
Crapp may review, moderate, remove, restrict, or hide content at any time.
We may take action if content or behavior violates:
- These Terms
- Our Community Guidelines
- Our Privacy Policy
- Applicable law
- Platform safety standards
- The integrity of the Crapp community
Actions may include:
- Removing content
- Hiding restrooms from public view
- Restricting features
- Suspending accounts
- Permanently banning users
- Reviewing reports
- Deactivating inaccurate or harmful listings
We are not obligated to monitor all content, but we reserve the right to do so.
15. Reporting Content
Users may report content that appears inaccurate, inappropriate, unsafe, duplicate, outdated, privacy-violating, or otherwise harmful.
Reported content may be reviewed and may result in removal, restriction, or further moderation.
Submitting false or abusive reports may itself violate these Terms.
16. Ownership of Crapp
Crapp, including the app, design, branding, name, logos, features, code, content, systems, and related intellectual property, is owned by Crapp LLC or its licensors.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or exploit Crapp or its intellectual property without written permission.
The name Crapp™ and related branding are used as trademarks or service marks of Crapp LLC.
17. Feedback
If you send us ideas, feedback, suggestions, feature requests, or improvements, you agree that we may use them without obligation to compensate you.
This helps us improve Crapp while keeping product development simple.
18. Third-Party Services
Crapp may rely on third-party services for functionality such as:
- Authentication
- Data hosting
- Maps
- Place search
- Directions
- Payments
- Subscriptions
- Analytics
- Crash reporting
- Storage
Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Crapp is not responsible for third-party services, content, policies, outages, errors, or actions.
19. Service Availability
Crapp may change, suspend, discontinue, or limit access to any part of the service at any time.
We do not guarantee that Crapp will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or always available.
Some features may be experimental, incomplete, or changed over time.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
Crapp is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crapp LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, reliability, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that:
- Restroom information is accurate
- A restroom will be available
- A restroom will be clean
- A restroom will be safe
- A restroom will be accessible
- Business rules or codes are current
- Photos or reviews reflect current conditions
- Navigation will be accurate
- The app will always work without interruption
Use Crapp at your own discretion.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crapp LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, use, or other intangible losses.
This includes damages arising from:
- Use or inability to use Crapp
- Reliance on restroom information
- Inaccurate or outdated user-submitted content
- Restroom availability or conditions
- Business policies or access restrictions
- Third-party services
- User-generated content
- Unauthorized access or security incidents
- Content removal or moderation decisions
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
22. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Crapp LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to:
- Your use of Crapp
- Your User Content
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of the Community Guidelines
- Your violation of another person’s rights
- Your violation of applicable law
- Your misuse of restroom access information
- Your uploaded photos or submissions
23. Account Termination
You may stop using Crapp at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to Crapp if we believe you have violated these Terms, our Community Guidelines, applicable law, or the safety and integrity of the platform.
After termination, some provisions of these Terms will continue to apply, including sections related to User Content, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we update them, we may change the effective date above.
If changes are significant, we may notify users in the app or require users to accept the updated Terms before using certain features.
Your continued use of Crapp after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
25. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.
