Welcome to Crapp™. This Privacy Policy explains how Crapp LLC (“Crapp,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our mobile application, website, services, and related features.
Crapp is a community-powered restroom discovery app designed to help users find clean, accessible, and usable restrooms. Because our app may involve location data, user-generated content, restroom reviews, photos, and account information, we take privacy seriously.
By using Crapp, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect information you provide directly, information collected automatically, and information received from third-party services.
Information you provide
You may provide information such as:

- Email address
- Account login information
- Restroom submissions
- Restroom ratings and cleanliness scores
- Labels or restroom signals
- Written reviews or notes
- Reports about inaccurate or inappropriate content
- Photos you upload
- Preferences, such as accessibility needs or preferred restroom types
You are responsible for the content you submit. Please do not upload photos or content containing people, minors, nudity, private information, or identifying details.
2. Location Information
Crapp uses location information to help you find nearby restrooms and improve location-based recommendations.
We may collect or use:
- Approximate location
- Precise location, if you grant permission
- Location search queries
- Coordinates associated with restroom submissions
- Coordinates associated with places or businesses selected during submission
Location access is used to:
- Show nearby restrooms
- Center the map around your current area
- Suggest nearby places when submitting a restroom
- Provide directions or navigation handoff
- Improve restroom discovery and ranking
You can disable location access through your device settings. Some features may not work properly without location access.
3. User-Generated Content
Crapp allows users to submit content, including restroom details, reviews, labels, reports, notes, and photos.
User-generated content may be visible to other users, depending on the feature and moderation status.
Examples of public or community-visible content may include:
- Restroom name or type
- Location or place information
- Ratings
- Cleanliness scores
- Labels or restroom signals
- Written reviews
- Photos
- Access notes
- Reported restroom conditions
Please do not submit private, sensitive, or identifying information. Do not upload photos that include people, reflections of people, minors, nudity, or private information.
We may remove, restrict, or moderate user-generated content that violates our Community Guidelines, Terms of Service, or applicable law.
4. Photos and Media
If you upload photos, we may collect and store those images to display restroom conditions to the community.
Uploaded photos should only show restroom-related details and must not include:
- People
- Faces or bodies
- Reflections of people
- Minors or children
- Nudity
- Identifying information
- Private documents, receipts, names, phone numbers, or contact details
- Inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content
Photos may be reviewed, removed, or restricted if reported or if we believe they violate our rules.
5. Account Information
If you create an account, we may collect information needed to create, manage, and secure your account.
This may include:

- Display name
- Authentication provider information
- Account ID
- Submission history

- Report history
- Favorites or saved locations, if supported

We do not directly store your full payment card information.

App platforms also require developers to disclose collected data. Apple requires developers to identify data collected by the app or third-party partners, and Google Play requires privacy disclosures explaining what user data is collected, transmitted, used, and shared.

Some user-generated content may be visible to other users, such as restroom ratings, labels, reviews, photos, and location details.

If you delete your account, some information may be deleted, anonymized, or retained where necessary for legal, safety, fraud prevention, or moderation purposes.

Depending on your account status, device settings, and applicable law, you may be able to:

- Request account deletion
- Report inaccurate or inappropriate content

- Manage subscription settings through Apple or Google
You can also choose not to create an account and browse available restroom information as a guest, where supported.
14. Children’s Privacy
Crapp is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Users must not upload photos or content containing minors or children.
15. Sensitive Content and Restroom Privacy
Because restrooms are private and sensitive spaces, users must be careful when submitting photos, notes, reviews, or reports.
Do not submit content that violates another person’s privacy or safety.
We may remove content that includes people, private information, inappropriate images, or other sensitive material.
16. International Users
Crapp is operated by Crapp LLC in the United States.
If you use Crapp from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
By using Crapp, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different privacy laws than your location.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we make changes, we may update the effective date above. If changes are material, we may notify users in the app or require users to accept the updated policies before using certain features.
Your continued use of Crapp after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
