Welcome to Crapp™ — a community-powered restroom discovery app built to help people find clean, safe, and accessible restrooms when they need them most.

Crapp works best when people share honest, helpful, and respectful information. These Community Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed when submitting restroom details, reviews, labels, reports, notes, and photos.

By using Crapp or submitting content, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Policy.

1. Respect Privacy

Restrooms are sensitive spaces. Please be extremely careful when submitting photos, notes, reviews, or any other content.

Do not upload or submit content that includes:

• People, faces, bodies, or reflections of people
• Minors or children
• Nudity or inappropriate content
• Personal or identifying information
• Private conversations, documents, receipts, names, phone numbers, or contact details
• Sensitive information about individuals or businesses

If a photo accidentally includes another person, a reflection, or identifying information, do not upload it.

Crapp may remove privacy-violating content immediately.

2. Keep Submissions Accurate

Crapp is designed to help people make quick decisions in real-world situations. Please only submit information that is honest, accurate, and based on your actual experience.

Please submit:

• Real restroom experiences
• Accurate location and access details
• Honest ratings and cleanliness scores
• Helpful accessibility information
• Useful notes that help others find or use the restroom

Do not intentionally submit false, misleading, exaggerated, or harmful information.

3. One Submission = One Restroom

Each Crapp submission should represent one individual restroom experience, not an entire building, business, mall, park, venue, or location.

Examples of individual restrooms include:

• Men’s public restroom
• Women’s public restroom
• Non-gendered restroom
• Private restroom
• Family / accessible restroom
• Port-a-potty

If a place has multiple restrooms, submit them separately when they differ in:

• Cleanliness
• Accessibility
• Codes or access requirements
• Layout or privacy
• Gender designation
• Overall experience

For example, a mall may have both a men’s restroom and a women’s restroom at the same location. These should be separate submissions because they may have different conditions.

4. Use Labels Responsibly

Labels help people quickly understand what to expect before they arrive.

Use labels honestly and only when they reflect the restroom experience.

Examples include:

• #2 Approved — users felt comfortable using this restroom for a longer visit
• Baby Changing — a baby changing station is available
• Family Friendly — suitable for parents, children, or families
• Good TP — toilet paper was available and usable
• Odor-free — no strong or unpleasant smell was noticed
• Open Stalls — stalls had gaps, missing doors, or poor privacy
• No Urinal Privacy — urinals had little or no privacy
• Out of Order — the restroom or major fixtures were not usable
• Creepy Vibes — the restroom felt unsafe, uncomfortable, poorly lit, or off

Do not use labels to troll, shame, harass, target, or mislead users, businesses, or individuals.

5. Keep Reviews Helpful and Respectful

Reviews should help other people decide whether a restroom is usable.

Good reviews are:

• Specific
• Honest
• Useful
• Respectful
• Based on your actual visit

Do not post reviews that include:

• Harassment
• Hate speech
• Threats
• Personal attacks
• Discriminatory language
• Graphic or excessive vulgarity
• False accusations
• Private information

Crapp is here to help people, not to shame people.

6. No Spam, Fake Content, or Abuse

Do not abuse Crapp’s submission, review, label, photo, or reporting systems.

This includes:

• Fake restroom submissions
• Duplicate spam submissions
• Unrelated photos
• Manipulated ratings
• Misleading labels
• False reports
• Promotional spam
• Attempts to harm a business or individual

Accounts that abuse the platform may be restricted, suspended, or permanently banned.

7. Respect Businesses and Public Spaces

Crapp includes community-submitted information about restrooms in public places, businesses, parks, venues, and other locations.

Please do not submit content that encourages:

• Trespassing
• Breaking posted rules
• Entering restricted or staff-only areas
• Sharing sensitive security details
• Harassing employees or business owners
• Misusing private property

Restroom availability, codes, rules, and access requirements may change at any time.

Businesses or property owners may request review of inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate content.

8. Bathroom Codes and Access Information

Some restrooms may require a code, purchase, staff approval, or other access requirement.

When sharing access information, be careful and respectful.

Do not submit information that:

• Encourages bypassing business policies
• Shares restricted staff-only access information
• Encourages trespassing or misuse of private property
• Creates safety or security concerns

Where possible, describe access requirements clearly instead of encouraging rule-breaking.

Examples:

• “Code required”
• “Ask staff for code”
• “Customer-only”
• “Purchase required”
• “Receipt may be needed”

Crapp may remove access information that appears unsafe, restricted, misleading, or inappropriate.

9. Photo Rules

Photos can help the community, but they must be handled carefully.

Only upload restroom-related photos that are safe, respectful, and useful.

Do not upload photos that include:

• People
• Reflections of people
• Children
• Nudity
• Inappropriate content
• Private or identifying information
• Unrelated images
• Intentionally humiliating or harmful content

Photos that violate these rules may be removed without notice.

Repeated or serious violations may result in account restrictions or bans.

10. Reporting Content

If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it.

You should report:

• Photos containing people
• Inappropriate or unsafe content
• Fake restroom submissions
• Harassment or abusive reviews
• Incorrect or outdated information
• Duplicate restrooms
• Content that reveals private information
• Content that encourages unsafe or unlawful behavior

Crapp may review, remove, restrict, or hide reported content to protect users, businesses, and the community.

11. Violations and Account Actions

Crapp may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users who violate these Community Guidelines, our Terms of Service, or applicable law.

Violations may include, but are not limited to:

• Uploading photos that include people or private information
• Submitting false, misleading, harmful, or spam content
• Harassing users, businesses, or individuals
• Sharing private, confidential, or identifying information
• Abusing reports, labels, ratings, reviews, or submissions
• Posting unlawful, obscene, threatening, or harmful content

Crapp may take action at its discretion to protect the safety, privacy, and trust of the community.

12. User Responsibility

You are responsible for the content you submit to Crapp, including restroom details, labels, ratings, reviews, notes, reports, and photos.

By submitting content, you confirm that:

• The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• You have the right to share the content
• Your submission does not violate another person’s privacy
• Your submission does not violate these Community Guidelines, our Terms of Service, or applicable law

Crapp may remove, restrict, or moderate user-submitted content at any time.

13. Community-Submitted Information

Crapp is community-powered. Restroom details, labels, ratings, photos, access notes, and reviews are submitted by users and may not always reflect current conditions.

Information may change over time, including:

• Cleanliness
• Access codes
• Business rules
• Hours
• Availability
• Accessibility
• Restroom conditions

Use your own judgment when relying on community-submitted information.

Crapp exists to make stressful restroom situations easier.

Your contributions can help people who are:

• Traveling
• Exploring a city
• Caring for children
• Managing accessibility needs
• Dealing with medical or urgent restroom needs
